Manual for Measures of Caring Activities and Outcomes For Children and Young People
This manual provides two instruments for assessing the extent and impact of caring activities amongst children and young people: the Multidimensional Assessment of Caring Activities (MACA-YC18) and the Positive and Negative Outcomes of Caring (PANOC-YC20). These two questionnaires can be used by practitioners in health and social care, youth work, psychology, and social work, as well as by young (adult) carers organisations to understand the effects of caring on individuals. They can also be used to evaluate whether interventions are effective in changing the intensity and impact of caring responsibilities.
